Heer visor cap for cavallery EM/NCO. With uncommon chinstrap.
Branch: Cavallery. "Goldgelb" color piping
Insignia: Wreath badge and eagle, originally attached with all prongs in place.
Chin strap: black leather EM/NCO strap with loops instead of buckles. Correct buttons, originally attached.
Lining: Fine gold silk lining, with heavy signs of use and wear. Some seams open, and several stains.
Celluloid diamond: heavily damaged and cracked.
Maker's mark: unreadable manufacturer, but probably "Marke ODD" Otto Dittmann Dresden.
Sweat-band: almost completely gone brown leather sweatband.
Original, heavily used visor cap with several moth damages and stains, but still worth to collect.
