Stunning Heer M40 single decal helmet with a rough camo paint (Rauhtarn) in excellent condition.
The original attached leather liner shows only minor signs of wear and is still very soft. It is size 59 stamped. Rivets definitely original to this helmet. Prongs never opened. The chin strap nicely matching and is also in beautiful condition. The maker mark is hard to read.
The shell comes with over 95% painted rough camo paint. You can still see brush marks. The eagle decal is original attached. It should be a "HJK" manufactured example. Shell markings are covered by the paint but you can still read "SE". It should be a SE66 or SE68.
Excellent example in very nice condition. Certainly not worn a lot! Hard to upgrade.
