Waffen-SS, officers'-pattern-, side-cap- (ie. M43-field-cap-) eagle as was executed in silver-coloured braid on a black-coloured background. The piece is executed in so-called: BeVo-weave 'flatwire'-pattern and comes as 'straightly cut-of the role': it was never cap-attached and is impossible to be upgraded.
