Early war Vienna Mint production of the 1939 Wound Badge in Silver grouping with maroon Case and Original Issue Envelope. The badge, case and original issue envelope are all in near-mint condition. The badge is unmarked as one would expect for an early war (pre-1941) production but has the squared edge pin catch found on the Vienna Mint productions and few others. The maroon case (the case color used for the silver badge) is marked “Hauptmünzamt Wien III” on the bottom and the envelope is marked “Hauptmünzamt Wien 40” on the reverse.
