1917 marked blade with Fichtel & Sachs Schweinfurt. Blade shows some toning and light rust. Wooden grip plates with extra steel plate added to the back of the handle. Two acceptance marks on the handle fittings and "307" stamped on the crossguard. Scabbard shows surface rust. With leather frog that may have been replaced at a later date. Reverse shows a hole which was presumably made to mount it.
