1914 Iron Cross 1st Class. WWII type. Made by Steinhauer & Lück. "4" maker marked to the pin. Three-part construction. Iron core. Original black paint. With the original black LDO case of issue. 

Very nice condition.

The Iron Cross was usually a military decoration only but awarded to civilians for performing military functions in a few instances.
