Important Iron Cross 1st Class awarded by Kaiser Wilhelm II at Verdun to Leutnant Blue severing with Feldartillerie-Regiment 25.

1914 Iron Cross 1st Class. Classic three-part construction with iron core. Original paint to the core.
Correctly attached hinge, catch and pin. No repairs.

Maker's mark: "S W"
A rare period time engraving on the reverse "Lt. Blume F.A.R . 25 1.4.1915 Verdun"
