Oldenburg - House and Merit Order of Duke Peter Friedrich Ludwig Knight's Cross 2nd Class with Silver Crown

Description

This Knight’s Cross 2nd Class with Crown was made from silver and enamel. The cross was removed from a medal bar and comes with the bronze sheet. The ribbon is still attached to the cross. The cross itself shows the beautiful painting of the coat of arms on the reverse center.

A total of 1234 crosses with crown were awarded in-between January 26, 1860, and 1918. The cross was further awarded in 1920 and thereafter.
