M1915 field tunic


Description

Bavarian WW1 Officer's M1915 field tunic. It has four internal pockets with exposed buttons, and the front row of buttons is hidden. Typical collar for Bavarian servicemen with a so-called "Aschinger Borte" tress. 

 

Collar tabs: Field-grey base. High quality. General. Sewn by machine.
Shoulder boards: Generalleutnant. Gilt pips. Sewn in. Blue threads for Bavaria. 
Lining: Fine silk. A Munich maker's tag for "Neuner & Basch"
Buttons: Original. Complete.


It has loops for multiple awards and a long ribbon bar. Included is a short ribbon bar with 3 ribbons.

A rare tunic with only a hand full of tiny moth bites.
