Description

VIEW DESCRIPTION

A German M35 helmet. The earliest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polizei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Luftwaffe.

Paint: Original factory paint. Nearly 100% still present. Almost no signs of wear to the shell.

Decals: The eagle decal is about nearly 100%. The national decal is about 95%.

Lining: Flexible leather lining. Still soft. Original cord. 57 size stamped. Named.
At least two prongs look to have been opened once.

Chin strap: Soft leather. 1939 dated. Maker marked.

Markings: Q64

The dome stamp "Abgenommen" is hard to read but it looks to be 1935 dated.
