Scarce M33 SS Service Dagger, so-called "Himmler" dagger.
The dagger has a blade showing the etched motto "Meine Ehre heißt Treue". On the back are the dedication "In herzlicher Kameradschaft H. Himmler" and the maker's mark of Carl Eickhorn, Solingen. The blade was professionally cleaned.
Black wooden handle with inlaid SS roundel and eagle. It has three chips. Early nickel fittings. "4" stamped on the bottom (workstation number).Original black anodized scabbard with nickel fittings. The ball has a small dent. All four screws are present.
This dagger was only made by Eickhorn. According to estimates, about 2500 pieces may have been produced.
