Extremely rare SA standard "Deutschland Erwache". One of the very rare surviving specimens.
The standard is made of red silk. Each side features a black swastika on a white circle. Also made of silk. The edges of the circle and swastika are bordered with silver brocade material (braid). One side shows the lettering "DEUTSCHLAND ERWACHE" and on the other side "NAT.SOZ.DEUTSCHE ARBEITERPARTEI - STURMABTEILUNG". White machine-embroidered letters with a black border. A full-length fabric loop at the top for attaching the horizontal pole. Furthermore, the standard is edged on three sides with black fabric fringe. Multi-piece construction.
Stanis and holes as well as one "old" mend (8.5x3.5 cm) on the top.
