A very rare German early rubberized web belt. Made from a black rubber with white fiber interior mess. This is the second and rare maker of these elusive belts. Stamped with the full maker, location and year of manufacture « Frdr. Hannike / Berlin 1941 ». Metal hardware is present and shows some oxidation. It comes with a nice unmarked Waffen-SS belt buckle. These unmarked examples were made by « Overhoff and Cie », which was a major producer of SS belt buckles during the entire Third Reich era. This is a steel example with silver paint. This example retains over 90% of the original silver finish. The detail to the eagle and wreath and lettering is crisp. Very rare and desirable belt set.
