Description

Document and medal group of Diplomat Enrique G. Abrahams. The group consists of the following:

  1. Panamanian Diplomatic Passport from 1959 with many entries.
  2. ID card issued from the Panamanian Art Institute 1963
  3. ID card as member to the Tribunal Electoral
  4. Panamanian Social Security Card
  5. Union Club membership card from 1972
  6. Panamanian ID card
  7. Copper plate for the 5th reunion of the American foreign ministries from August 1959 with maker mark
  8.  A large photograph of him at his desk in presentation folder
  9. Grand Cross set of the Panamanian Order of Vasco Nunez de Balboa complete with sash and miniature in the original case of issue. Silver gilded and enameled.
  10. Cross in gilded silver and enamel of the Ecuadorian Order of Eloy Alfaro with neck and chest ribbon. Maker mark and silver content mark “Sterling”
  11. Silver Medal of the Ecuadorian Order of Merit, 1st type in silver with original ribbon. Maker mark and silver content mark “Sterling”
  12. Merit cross of the Bolivarian Society. Gilded silver and enamel. On original ribbon.
  13. Grand Cross set of the Chilean Order of Merit, 5th Type. Gilded silver and enamel. With sash and original case of issue.
  14. Photo Album compiled for his funeral in 1976. Many pictures and newspaper clippings.

E.G. Abrahams was one of the founding members of the “Acción Comunal” that triggered the coup d’etat in January 2, 1931.

Very interesting and comprehensive group of a high-ranking diplomat.
