The book was a gift from the Italian Ministry of Popular Culture Alessandro Pavolini to the German delegation. Published by the Ente Nazionale Industrie Turistiche in 1938 on the occasion of a state visit to Italy. It was issued only to high-ranking German politicians. A very high-quality and elaborately designed book.
