Handle:
Brown wooden handle with inlaid SA roundel and eagle.
Condition of the handle: No chips.
Handle fittings: Nickel-plated zinc fittings.
Blade:
Nickel-plated steel blade featuring the etched motto "Alles für Deutschland".
Maker's mark: RZM M7/51 Anton Wingen, Solingen also dated 1938.
Scabbard:
Finish: Period time brown painted finish. Under the brown paint, you can see that the scabbard earlier was black painted. Maybe the owner has switched from NSKK to SA.
Fittings: Nickel-plated zinc fittings.
Screws: All screws in place.
Hangers: Very rare so-called "Feldherrn Hanger". To wear the dagger vertically, so-called vertical hangers were used. To wear the dagger like this the carrying ring has to be removed from the scabbard.
