Description

Early SA Service Dagger. So-called SA "Weihnachtsdolch". On 15 December 1933, the SA headquarters officially decided to institute a dagger to be worn with the SA-Uniform. On Christmas 1933 the first batch of daggers was delivered to the higher SA leaders. These prototypes, also called "Weihnachtsdolch" (Christmas dagger), had the regular SA eagle inlaid into the grip, and the motto was executed completely differently than it was with later models. 

Handle: 
Brown wooden handle with. The SA roundel is missing. SA eagle inlay. 
Condition of the handle: Chips and cracks
Handle fittings: Early nickel fittings. 
 

Blade:
Nickel-plated steel blade featuring the etched motto "Alles für Deutschland"
Maker's mark: -

The Röhm dedication was removed to the reverse of the blade.

Scabbard:
Finish: Made from copper 
Fittings: Nickel fittings. The lower fitting is missing, also the screws and the carrying ring. Also the throat.
