VIEW DESCRIPTION

Scarce M33 SS Service Dagger, so-called "Himmler" dagger.

The dagger has a blade showing the etched motto "Meine Ehre heißt Treue". On the back are the dedication "In herzlicher Kameradschaft H. Himmler" and the maker's mark of Carl Eickhorn, Solingen. The tip of the blade is missing. The blade edges also with damage.

Black wooden handle with inlaid SS roundel and eagle.The grip with cracks and chips. Early nickel fittings. "8" stamped on the bottom (workstation number). Original black painted scabbard with nickel fittings. The ball with dents. All four screws are present.

Comes with a vertical hanger. Black soft leather. Fully working clip. No maker.

This dagger was only made by Eickhorn. According to estimates, about 2500 pieces may have been produced.
