An exceptionally rare blade, etched on three sides. It shows the inscription "SS-Obersturmführer Alexander Kaschenburg - SS-Scharfschützen-Wettkampf 1938" and "Leibstandarte SS-Adolf Hitler". Both inscriptions are also beautifully decorated. "ALCOSO Solingen" maker marked.

Silver-plated brass hilt with lion's head pommel. The knuckle guard shows the "LAH" emblem. Black celluloid grip with wire wrapping. The langets bear the raised SS runes and the recipient's initals "AK" on the other side. Comes with the rare SS portepee. Black re-painted steel scabbard wich is free of dents. Additionally the black leather hanger. "RZM" marked on the back. Fully working snap clip.
