Beautiful example of a police K98 bayonet with horn grips made by Carl Eickhorn Solingen with the era 1935-41 stamp showing on the blade.
The blade overal is very clean and shows the stamp prominently there are some signs of cleaning or polishing on the blade but the markings are not affected. The grips are also clean with horn grips and the police eagle in very nice condition. The pommel shows the stylized eagle head with nice relief with equally nice relief to the oak leaves on the crossguard.
The leather frog also appears original with slight pebbling to the finish.
Comes complete with an era appropriate green portepee.
