VIEW DESCRIPTION

Very rare luxury dress bayonet KS 98. Issued to the best shooter of the 6./Infanterie-Regiment 137.

The bayonet comes with a nice clean blade. Only a few small stains. "Paul Weyersberg" maker marked. Real horn grip plates. No chipping. Original attached metal tag. It shows the engraving "Dem best. Schützen d. 6.Kp. Gest. v. Offz. Bund d. ehem. Unf. Els. I.R.137". Furthermore two attached acorns on the other side. Excellent ornamented hilt fittings (nickel-plated).

The steel scabbard comes with full original black paint. No dents. Including the matching brown leather frog and knot.

Length: 40 cm.

Nice condition 1-2. Very hard to find!
