Bayonet features a nice etched blade shows on both sides the national eagle in the center and is flanked by the inscription "Erinnering an meine Dienstzeit". Also nicely ornamented. "WKC" maker marked.
Black bakelite grips with crisp scales. No chipping. Nickel-plated zinc handle fittings. It has some minor spots of corrosion and retains the red felt in the slot to affix it to the K98. The scabbard has preserved black finish with some loss. No dents.
Comes with leather frog showing some cracking. Frog also has a metal plate at the back stamped DRP.
