Superb German gas mask canister in olive tropical tan camouflage paint. A choice example that has been camouflaged in olive tropical tan paint. The canister itself retains well over 95% of its original camouflage finish. Some evidence of normal usage is present and features minor scuffs, scraps, and light dents. The canister is complete with its original issued straps. They are in very good shape, complete. The canister is maker marked and dated « FFA 1940 ». Interior gummi rubber seal is intact. It retains a tropical issue spare gas mask lenses container and a set of spare lenses. Named twice to « Gefreiter Stiefel », Feldpost number present as well. Comes with its original gas mask, the filter is dated « 1940 » and marked « TROPEN ». A really superb camouflage canister that is difficult to find and highly desirable. Choice.
