  You will receive an e-mail confirming your successful bids the day after the auction has ended. In your personal my ratisbon's you will be able to inform us about your most convenient payment method for this order or tell us about an alternative shipping address.
  
  If we don’t hear from you within 24 hours, we will send an invoice choosing the payment and shipping options which we think are the most comfortable ones to you. Delivery times will vary depending upon the delivery destination and type of shipping service you have chosen.

Description

VIEW DESCRIPTION

A German M40 helmet. A wartime type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polizei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Luftwaffe.

Paint: original blue-grey paint is over 90%

Decals: The eagle decal is partially removed or/and overpainted

Lining: Flexible leather lining stamped with 59 size mark - a big size. Still soft. Old cord with name of the wearer and their unit clearly marked.

Chinstrap is also well marked showing G Singer maker and 1941 date.

Overall a solid helmet.
