VIEW DESCRIPTION

Zinc made second grade (25) Panzer Assault Badge in Silver. Unmarked but attributed to the Gablonz-based maker Josef Feix (JFS). Early production variant that managed to retain its strong silver finish. Apart from its replacement catch the award only shows minor traces of wear and patina build-up. (Cf. The German Panzer Assault Badge of WWII, 2021, Ph.De Bock, pages 867-868).
