Description

Grouping to Teniente Francisco Mena Diaz, an officer of the "Blue Division" serving during the Spanish Civil War. A later cornel and member of the general staff. 

Dark blue visor cap with gold color bullion piping. Hand-embroidered cap badge. Gold chin strap. Red silk lining with a maker's tag from a tailor based in Madrid.

Dark blue tunic with gilt buttons and rank insignia. Fine blakc silk lining. Tag: El corte Militar, Madrid".
Matching dark blue trousers with black tress. Fine silk lining. Including his white gloves.

Medal bar with the Knight's Cross of the Royal and Military Order of Saint Hermenegild, the Spanish Military Merit Cross, the "Blue Division Medal", the Commemorative Medal Of The Spanish Volunteer Division In Russia and the Spanish Civil War Medal for the Campaign of 1936-1939. It comes with a matching 8-place ribbon bar.

Furthermore, there is the breast star to the Royal and Military Order of Saint Hermenegild, the Military Merit Order (parts missing) and the Military Order Of Maria Cristina, I Class Cross Breast Star.

"67" numbered General staff badge. Damaged enamel. "875" numbered enameled wing for technical flight engineer as well as a small enameled badge for teachers of the military akademie in Madrid.

1936-1939 sash in case.
