A superb Waffen-SS combat service uniform for « LAH » Rottenführer in overall excellent condition. Tunic is a classic textbook late-war example, factory construction from rough wool. The matching « BeVo » collar tabs are machine applied with black bobbin thread, rank litzen are hand stitched to the rank tab, the « BeVo » enlisted man's arm eagle is factory zig-zag machine stitched, rank chevron and « LAH » embroidered cufftitle are neatly hand sewn using black thread. Matching white piped shoulder straps for « Infantry » with matching slip on « LAH » cyphers, machine embroidered silver white thread on black wool, machine sewn reinforced edges. Interior is in matching condition. Lining, pocket bag and belt hook support straps are made of three or four slightly differing shades of grey rayon, all having the herringbone weave pattern, stamped in black ink with three digit maker code « 349 » and below that the size markings. All original buttons are present as well as the belt retaining hooks. The M43 trousers « Keilhose » are matching the tunic, using the exact same wool for the construction. The lining is made of four or five slightly differing shades of grey material. All buttons are present.
