Nicely worn Heer M40 field tunic worn by an Oberleutnant. The tunic comes with an original attached officer's breast eagle (attached by hand). While the officer's collar tabs are clearly medical, the shoulder boards are "Truppensonderdienst" (TSD). A typical mismatch happened during the war when there were other problems than to find insignia with the right color. There are small loops added for the officer shoulder baords instead of the rather larger loops for EM/NCO.
The tunic was tailored from an interesting type of cloth of Czech origin.
Fine linin lining with an "M40" stamp, size stamps and a maker's stamp: "Augsburger Kleiderfabrik".
Minor moth damage to the collar mainly. Overall good condition 2. Nicely worn.
