Germany 1918 - 1945 Kriegsmarine officer's dagger with bags, maker's tag & portepee - Höller
A beautiful Kriegsmarine officer's dagger made by F.W. Höller Solingen. Very nice condition 1-.
Excellent etched blade to two sides. It shows fine ornaments and naval motifs. "Höller" maker marked. A yellow handle with intact wire wrapping. Nice gilt brass hilt fittings. A so-called "gehämmerte" (hammered) brass scabbard. Full original gilding. No dents. Attached Höller maker's tag. Condition 1-.
With the original paper bag of issue. Black lettering to the front "Offizier-Dolch" and the Höller company logo as well as the handwritten note "gehämmert matt" (hammered mat). Furthermore the matching officer's portepee with the original paper packing and the cloht bag for the dagger. Made from dark blue fabric (moth damage). The front shows the initials of the recipient.
