Family purchased grouping to Luftwaffe Unteroffizier Alois Boschert. Boschert served with the "Legion Condor" during the Spanish Civil War for the German Luftwaffe. A recipient of the Spanish Cross in bronze with swords. His grouping came straight of the grand-nephew and was never available on the market before!
Nickel-plated steel blade. No maker's mark. Stained. The orange handle comes with an intact wire wrapping. No chipping. Aluminium fittings. Attached officer's portepee. The scabbard (magnetic) has no dents. With the original dagger hangers. RZM "U.E. 10" maker marked and "DRGM" marked. A snap slip is damaged.
