Rare early German paratrooper « Fallschirmjäger » gas mask carrying bag, heavy green canvas construction with olive-green straps. The bag was likely produced prior to 1941. As on other early pieces, the zipper was made by the firm « Riacht » in Wuppertal. The bag itself is stamped on the flap with the maker's logo « AB » for « Auer ». The snaps are marked « PRYM 7 ». The rubber plug is also present, the bag is complete and in mint unissued condition. This is really a hard to find early Fallschirmjäger equipment piece !
