Superb and rare German bicolour production combat assault pioneer's shovel holder. Early-war construction with a two-tone leather in brown and pebbled black leather giving this holder a very unique and desirable look. The shovel holder / carrier is complete and in supple condition. All fastening straps are present, intact and useable. In excellent condition overall. The back is nicely marked with the maker, year of production « jgh41 » and Waffenamt. Stitching is complete, tight and secure. Metal hardware is clean and with no rust present. The shovel is marked with the makers details and the Waffenamt. Great set.
