Superb M1942 Luftwaffe single decal combat helmet that comes in its original ship home wooden box. The helmet is a rare « ckl62 » with a lot number of « 2759 ». Exterior is in excellent condition and retaining over 95% of its original matte blue factory applied paint finish. The decal is nicely applied, rating in at over 90%. Exterior shows some minimal scraps and scuffs. Split pins present, securely attached and undisturbed. The interior is untouched and in very nice condition. Pig skin leather liner that retains its light tan color, blue ink stamped with the size « 55 ». Original drawstring is present. The wooden box is in excellent condition. This is a great and unique set that rarely comes on the market.
