Extremely rare German Luftwaffe M35 helmet. The earliest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polizei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Luftwaffe.
It received a period time camo paint brushed to the outside. 

Paint: Original factory paint covered by a period time multicolor camopaint added very late in the war.  Around 85-90% still present. Signs of wear. Great patina. 

Decals: The eagle decal is about 65-70%. It was left out when painting this helmet. The national decal most probably underneath the camo paint. 

Lining: Flexible leather lining. Still soft. Replaced old cord. Some damage. 
Unopened prongs. The liner is original to the shell.

Chin strap: Soft leather. Some damage and rips 

Markings: ET64. Most probably size 56.

This helmet must have been issued pre war and was worn throught the entire war!
