Description

Quite a few German soldiers had escaped from their POW camp. The most famous story was told in the movie "The great excape" which tells the story of the German officer "Franz von Werra".
Hauptmann Oskar Gögler is famous for a spectacular escape out of the British POW camp "Island Camp". A "Der Landser" magazine was published about his story with 50 pages only about the escape! The article was written by Gögler himself. The magazine title is "O.GÖGLER - ALARM IN ISLAND CAMP". Gögler is shown twice inside the magazine.
