Third Reich period time sculpture showing a Roman gladiator. He holds a spear in his left hand as well as a shield in the right hand. The shield is absolutely original to the figure, however, small eagles of Heer Long Service Award ribbon bars were added. In addition, these eagles and the area around it were postwar gilt.
Made from zinc. Bronzed. White marble base.
