SS Chained Service Dagger with original officer's portepee.
The dagger comes with the etched motto "Meine Ehre heißt Treue". No maker's mark, as it must be with SS Chained Daggers. Black wooden grip. Slight chipping to the top as well as one repaired chip. Original attached enamel SS roundel and national eagle. Nickel-plated zinc fittings.
Original black anodized scabbard. No dents. The center scabbard fitting to accommodate the chain has been removed. Furthermore, the bracket on the upper fitting was also removed. Maybe to wear it as an EM/NCO dagger. The remaining four screws are present and unopened.
