Heer M35 helmet which was issued with a single eagle decal during the war. The helmet shell is NS64 maker and size marked. It was period time painted with "sawdust" camo paint. About 90% of the original paint is still present. The eagle was most probably overpainted period time and later recovered by a collector. The eagle decal has certainly suffered.
Original leather liner with original cord. Size "57" marked and "E.W." named. The prongs of the rivets are still very flat but the rivets don't show camo paint and might be re-attached.
Over all a nice worn camo helmet in good condition! Original leather chin strap (very long). Unmarked.
