A fine EREL made visor cap for a "Heeresbeamter" (civil servant). Officer's rank. A quite rare "Frischluft" pattern with a ventilation hole inside the cockade and cap band. Matching aluminum insignia. The eagle is showing some dark patina which looks to have been partially cleaned off.
"EREL Stirnschutz" marked sweat-band with signs of wear. Gold color silk lining with a EREL SONDERKLASSE maker's mark and a OFFIZIER KLEIDERKASSE BERLIN seller's mark. Intact celluloid diamond.
Overall minor signs of wear. A hand full of moth holes. Nice shape.
