Description

Heer officer's visor cap. Ex-infantry branch and issued with a white cap piping. The piping was period time dyed in into a pink/orange color. This soldier would have been transferred to Panzer or Feldgendarmerie troops. It was a common habit as it safed spending money on buying a new cap.It could also be a faded red which would mean he served with artillery troops but Panzer is more likely really.

"H.B.A. 1938" depot marked as well as maker marked underneath the sweat-band.
Size 56 stamped. Celluloid diamond with cracks. Typical orange color linen lining as worn around 1936-1937. Sweat-band with serious damage.

Hand-embroidered officer's wreath badge. Early 1st pattern silver finished tombak eagle as correct for this time.

Moth damage.
