Description

Gravemarker to Oberleutnant Werner Ahrends serving with Infanterie-Regiment 16. Killed in action on 3. September 1944. The cross is made from wood. Black painted "Iron Cross". Two-piece construction. Black hand-written inscription "Werner Ahrens Oblt. u. Komp. Chef im Oldb. Inf.Rgt. 16 - Geb. 5.2.1911 in Oldenburg Gest. 3.9.1944".

Signs of use and chipping, however in good condition.
