Untouched helmet straight from the family and never available on the market before. A nicely worn Bavarian officer's spike helmet for a Leibregiment officer.

Front badge and spike as well as base period time changed. Extra holes! The helmet once came with a round spike plate. Front arm of the cross plate secured with an old pin.

The change of the spike plate and front insignia was absolutely period time! This privately purchased Leibregiment helmet was worn by an EM who became an officer. After the promotion, the front badge was replaced with an officer's one. The round spike plate with spike was changed for an officer's cross plate with officer's spike.

Unscrewable spike!

Very nice officer's cockades. Both, "Reichskokarde" and Bavarian "Landeskokarde" with full original color.
