Description

Grouping to Gefreiten Friedrich Steiner serving with Panzer-Grenadier-Regiment "Großdeutschland".

Certificate to 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class. Issued on 25. July 1943. Facsimile signature. The back of the document comes with the reason for the award: On 5. July 1943 at Tscherkaskoje, Steiner fought his way into the enemy trench as a machine gunner 1 together with a small group. Signed by an Oberst. 

Certificate to Wound Badge in black. Issued on 19.5.1944. Signed by an Oberarzt.

Heer "Großdeutschland" EM/NCO cuff title. Last type, around 1944. Length: 44 cm.

Close Combat Clasp in Bronze. Zinc. Nice bronze finish. "A.G.M.u.K." maker marked. Original backplate in place (magnetic). The pin and catch are missing.

1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class. Iron core. No maker's mark. Including two original ribbons.

Wound Badge in silver. Zinc. "26" maker marked. In its original case of issue.

A very nice portrait photo of him. See the "GD" shoulder boards, please. Postcard format. In addition, a small photo (6x9 cm).
