Oil of Otto von Bismarck by Carl Drechsel (1926)
Description
The oil shows the portrait of Otto von Bismarck. Painted by Carl Drechsel in 1926. Signature of the artist in the lower-left corner. The painting hung in a US army barracks and unfortunately, the soldiers shot at the painting with small caliber rifles. The resulting holes were repaired. Original wooden frame. Traces of use and chipping.
Size frame: 72.5x59 cm.
Size painting: 60.5x47.5 cm.
