An early nickel-silver ("Neusilber") Luftwaffe sword by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen.
Nickel-plated steel blade. It has a few small stains and "notches" on the edges. Also, a tiny piece of the tip is missing. "Eickhorn" maker marked. Blue leather finished grip with intact wire wrapping. The crossguard and the pommel shows a sunweel swatika on each side. The pommel can no longer be fastened 100%, so the crossguard is a bit loose.
Blue leather finished scabbard with silvered fittings. Some small dents. All four screws in position and unopened. Original attached blue leather hanger.
