Description

An early SA Service Dagger. Made by Aesculap, Tuttlingen.

The blade is in good condition. It shows the original etching "Alles für Deutschland" and on the other side the so-called "Röhm" dedication "In herzlicher Kameradschaft ...". The name "Ernst Röhm" was removed. "Aesculap, Tuttlingen" maker marked.

Nice brown wooden handle with inserted SA roundel and national eagle. No damage. Matching nickel fittings. "Sw" stamped on the back of the lower crossguard (Südwest). Brown re-painted steel scabbard with nickel fittings. All four screws are in place.

Including the leather hanger. Fully functional snap clip.
