M33 SA Service Dagger "Ernst Röhm"

Description

An early SA Service Dagger made by Ernst Pack & Söhne, Solingen.

It was originally a so-called "Röhm" dagger. The dedication on the back of the blade was period time removed. After the "Röhm Putsch" in 1934, the dedication had to be removed from all daggers. The front shows the etched motto "Alles für Deutschland" and the maker's mark by Ernst Pack & Söhne on the reverse. A bit of the tip is missing.

Nice brown wooden handle with original inserted SA roundel and national eagle. "No" (Nordsee) stamped on the lower crossguard. Early nickel fittings. Original brown anodized steel scabbard. It has a few small dents. All four screws are in position.

With the brown leather hanger. Fully functional snap clip.

Signs of wear.
