Purchased from the veteran about 20 years ago. Never avaialble on the market before!

Medal grouping to Unteroffizier Johann Beer, recipient of the Close Cobat Clasp for more the 25 close combat days. The grouping include an original photo of his brother, also a recipient of the Close Combat Clasp in silver. He is shown with the bronze clasp on the photo.

Beer wrote a booklet about his war memories which is included as a color photocopy. He describes when and why he was awarded with his medals, tells crusial details about fighting against partisans and speaks about his time as a POW. He was released in 1949.

He started serving with Panzergrenadier-Regiment 93 and was then sent to  Infanterie-Regiment 390.

Infantry Assault Badge in silver. FLL maker marked. Catch factory attached! Nice patina.
Wound Badge in silver. Zinc. 107 maker marked.
Sport's Badge in bronze
Close Combat Clasp in silver. Zinc. Silver finish in place! Unmarked. Made by an unknown maker. Fluted pin!
Three buttons as well as the cockcade of his visor cap.
