Grouping to Luftwaffe medic Obergefreiter Johann Ortner born in 1903. Ortner has served with Sanitäts.Ausbildungs-Abteilung der Luftwaffe 2 and Luftwaffe-Lararett Gomel. in 1941/1942. He has lost one eye during his pre war military service. Since it was an accident he was never awarded the Wound Badge in gold. Part of the grouping are not only uniforms and documents but actually also his glass eye.
Comprehensive document grouping including two Luftwaffe insignia which was found inside a metal first aid box. A nice grouping allowing a lot of room for additional research.
