Description

A  1st pattern "old style" visor cap for an officer with a soft leather visor. Collector's call this type of cap a "crusher cap". 

Piping: "White" color for infantry troops
Insignia: Machine-woven officer's wreath badge with silvered brass 1st pattern cap eagle. Period time attached by machine. 

Sweat-band: Nicely worn with minor damage. 
Lining: Fine silk lining with intact celluloid diamond. Signs of wear. Some stains. 
Visor: Soft leather

Markings: Louis Lorz Darmstadt

A nicely worn cap in good shape. A few moth holes
